3D COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

3D computed tomography (CT)

Depending on your needs, we can analyse entire components or any partial areas down to the smallest detail. With our high-resolution CT scanning system, you receive a three-dimensional, tomographic representation of your sample. This gives you valuable information about the internal and external structure of your product in no time at all, without any disturbing overlays.

In addition, we measure objects three-dimensionally with 3D computed tomography, allowing you to immediately detect distances and possible defects in components. Perform assembly inspections, defect analyses or fiber composite material analyses easier than ever with our CT examination and benefit from a high image resolution of up to 5 μm voxel size.

Service description

With our professional Nanome|x 180 + CT inspection system, we enable you to obtain high-resolution, three-dimensional images of your product in our laboratory.

1st

Your samples are rotated 360° stepwise (< 1°) in the beam path in the Nanome|x 180 + CT. This produces several thousand 2D X-ray images, from which the volume data are calculated numerically.

2nd

You will receive the result immediately together with a demo version of the display software "Volume Graphics".

3rd

In addition, you get three digital films (each along the x-, y-, and z-axis). This allows you to inspect every section of your sample down to the smallest detail.

4th

We will produce several cross-sectional images of prominent positions for you. You will receive the complete documentation on a USB stick.

5th

We are looking forward to your inquiry!
