2D X-RAY ANALYSIS

2D X-ray analysis

The non-destructive 2D X-ray analysis also allows serial inspections of larger quantities. Due to fast and meaningful results, 2D X-ray is used in many inspection tasks in industry and science. Possible defects can be quickly detected and eliminated before the product is further processed. This not only saves time, it also saves money.

Our 2D X-ray inspection achieves the highest submicrometer resolutions and has become a standard method of non-destructive failure analysis. It is widely used in material testing and failure analysis in a wide range of industries. Take a look inside the product with our 2D X-ray analysis and inspect even the densest elements such as steel or copper.

This is how we proceed

Service description

With the smallest units of measurement, we analyze the finest structures with our high-resolution micro-/nanofocus X-ray systems. In nanofocus mode, we achieve detail detectability down to 200 nm (0.2 micrometers) with the best contrast resolution.

1st

We inspect your samples with our dynamic 5-axis manipulator, which allows oblique radiographs of up to 70 degrees.

2nd

Thanks to suitable filters, you get sharp 2D X-ray images immediately and locally.

3rd

We provide your results digitally in the following formats: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF

4th

Of course, we will provide you with a detailed test report with extensively commented X-ray images upon request.

5th

We are looking forward to your inquiry!
